I have checked which years I have drunk of Cheval Blanc, and, from memory, here is the ranking that I would give :

1947 / 1959 / 1949 / 1934 / 1945 / 1941 (1) / 1990 / 1919 / 1986 / 1989 / 1961 / 1937 / 1943 / 1950 / 1960 / 1998 / 1995 / 2001 / 2004 / #1900 / 1958 / 1984

I give a special mention to the 1941 which bluffed us as never. This weak year performed so well that we were completely astonished.

Of course this ranking depends on the fact that I see in recent wines more a promise than a reality.
